Ajijic is a "Pueblo Magico" on the shore of Lake Chapala about a 40 minute drive from the Guadalajara airport.  With a perfect climate, friendly people, great lodging, restaurants, shops and galleries, it is home to many North American expats.  My husband and I usually enjoy at least a month here every year.
